Below are the Randy Orton's 10 facts that you were probably not aware of.

1. Started as a Referee

The initial ages of most skilled wrestlers' occupations are usually pretty amusing. You repeatedly grasp the youngsters paying their dues in some form, whether that means carrying other wrestler's stuff, driving for a majority of the long car trips from place to place or even present as a part of the ring crew.

Instead, Randy Orton found himself in as a wrestling match referee.

It's not any clandestine that Orton comes from a family which has a wrestling background, which aided him to sneak into diverse organizations to improve his skill. As he was increasing his skills in Mid-Missouri Wrestling Association-Southern Illinois Conference Wrestling (MMWA-SICW), his uncle Barry Orton got him a referee gig on the side with World Organized Wrestling.

Randy Orton as a ref??! thank god, he didn't use the RKO as hsi finisher back during that time.

2.Trained with Brock, Cena, and Batista

Randy, on his developing contract, trained with Brock Lesnar, John Cena, and Dave Batista, who were also learning the moves with Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), the WWE’s main developmental ground from 2000-2008. All would get on to become household names in the wrestling atmosphere and further.

3.  2nd WWE Intercontinental champion

Randy Orton was the 2nd youngest WWE Intercontinental champion (Jeff Hardy was the first youngest.) He took out RVD in December 2003 at Armageddon, starting a seven-month reign that took until Edge beat him the subsequent month of July at Vengeance PPV.

4. Youngest WWE World Heavyweight champ

In August of 2004 at the age of 24, Orton became the youngest WWE World Heavyweight champion, taking down Chris Benoit at the SummerSlam PPV. He lost the title later to Triple H at Unforgiven PPV a month later.

5. Was a US Marine Corp

Orton was a member of the US Marine Corps before he got a bad conduct removal as he went on a leave without letting know the concerned authority. Randy Orton there worked 38 days in military prison at California. He had a Marine Corps tattoo on his arm which he later removed it by covering it up with another tattoo.

6. Five themes

Orton has had 5 different themes for his individual entrances, 2 for his tag teams Evolution and Rated-RKO. One of them is 'This Fire Burns' by Killswitch Engage which he used on March 3, 2006 episode of SmackDown. This theme song was later used by CM Punk until he switched to “The Cult of Personality”. And with the current theme 'Voices', this was really my one of the favorite WWE themes.

7. Got attacked by a fan

On July 2013, Orton was attacked by a fan from the audience during a South Africa house show when WWE went off-air. After a match, the fan got into the ring and while Orton was posing he gave a low blow in the groin of the Viper. WWE said that the interference was not a part of that storyline at all. After that Randy Orton got seriously angry and started stabbing on his head immediately he was taken by the WWE officials. The accused was charged and ordered to either pay a fine of 500 Rand or serve 30 days in jail. He was also suspended for three years from WWE and disallowed to attend any other house shows that week.

8. Worked in movies

Also like his uncle Randal Barry Orton (a professional wrestler and Americal actor), Randy has got into the world of acting. As one might expect, he has got chance primarily on the action movie genre. The title 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded, which interestingly enough is a sequel to a movie starred by  Cena, was a straight to DVD release that got mixed reviews. Somewhat changing from his role as the WWE Hell (villain), Orton portrays the heroic cop forced to overcome a madman's obstacles. Besides, there are other movies in which Randy played a role in like The Condemned, That's What I am, along with some TV shows.

If you haven't watched any of these movies yet then it's time to grab your popcorn.

9. Breaking the character

Randy Orton broke character many times. One of my most favorite character break was of 2016's Survivor Series when Shane McMahon appeared to have gotten hurt during a spot where he was going for a coast dropkick on Roman Reigns but was met with a devastating spear. Shane Mcmahon looked completely out of it as officials tended to him. While Shane was being helped inside the ring, Randy Orton broke character and took a moment to comfort Shane's wife and son at audience side telling him that his father was alright.

10. Was booked to break the Taker's streak

Leading to their way to WrestleMania 21 match, The Undertaker suggested Randy Orton be the guy to end his streak, but Orton refused out of his respect for the Undertaker's legacy. This shows Orton's humble side.

Orton's list of accomplishments has grown greatly in his young career and he's had some interesting moments along the way.
